The Bigger Picture

We get so caught up in the frame filling shots that we forget to look at the surrounding environment. At one point during the shoot, I remembered to step back and just look. it is here that you realize just how sparse the food supply is for the bears. They really have to work at it in order to build enough fat reserves to get them through hibernation during the winter.
